Stagnoli Gears will be at EPTDA 2025 with its plastic parts and new Spinyx worm gearbox

Stagnoli will attend the next edition of EPTDA 2025, from 11 to 13 September at the prestigious Fairmont Monte Carlo in Monaco. The convention is a key meeting point for players in the power transmission and motion control industry at both a European and international level.

The new Spinyx worm gearbox
Also in the spotlight will be Spinyx, the new composite technopolymer worm gearbox designed to meet the most stringent hygiene, lightness and chemical resistance requirements. Spinyx has been designed for highly hygienic environments and it boasts the following features:
- Oil-free: uses food-grade fat instead of oil, reducing the risk of contamination to zero;
- Compatible with CIP systems, resistant to aggressive detergents and alkaline agents;
- It has an IP69 protection rating, meaning that it is completely sealed against liquids and dust;
- Up to 70% lighter than stainless steel gearboxes, with a metal-detectable one-piece body;
- Available with technopolymer gears for low/medium torques and bronze for high performance applications.

The Spinyx worm gearbox represents the new frontier of industrial hygiene in power transmission, with quiet operation and a design to minimise maintenance. It is available in various sizes (30, 40 and 50) and with standard reduction ratios from 1:10 up to 1:80. It is perfectly suited to food, pharmaceutical and other sensitive production lines.
