The Metal Replacement activity, that is the use of technopolymers instead of traditional metal materials for the manufacturing of high performance gears, is the main feature of our core business. We have always set ourselves the goal of expanding our range of catalogue items to offer our clients the possibility of having a turnkey solution that is as immediate and reliable as possible for their applications. For some time we have been offering our clients HTD 5M or 8M toothed pulleys. HTD is the English acronym for High Torque Drive. These particular technopolymer toothed pulleys in 5M and 8M pitch are suitable for a belt length of 9, 16, 20 and 25 mm. For some months now we have decided to offer them including an aluminium insert. Why? The reason is simple: we want to give those who need it the opportunity to increase the transmitted power if they need to make a keyway directly splined to shaft. In this way, it is possible to use technopolymer toothed pulleys in all those applications where there is a sudden change of direction in motion, with high speeds.
